“I recently had the pleasure of staying at Magnolia Lodge on my birthday, and I am thoroughly impressed with the experience. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable.

Vivek Singh, the manager, was exceptional in ensuring that everything ran smoothly. From the moment we arrived, he was attentive, professional, and incredibly accommodating. His attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction was evident throughout my stay.

The culinary experience at Magnolia Lodge was truly outstanding, thanks to the talented cooks, Leela and Nandi. Every meal was a delight and was prepared with love and care, making dining here a highlight of my stay.

The caretaker, Digar Singh, ensured that the homestay was always in pristine condition. He were diligent in maintaining cleanliness. His warm and friendly demeanor made me feel at home. He was always ready to assist with any additional requests.

Kamal, the driver provided excellent transportation services throughout our visit. Punctual and knowledgeable about the local area, he made traveling around both convenient and enjoyable.

Lastly, I'd also like to appreciate Dr Rawat uncle for this beautiful property. His magnificent presence could be felt in the corners of the house despite his absence.

Overall, my stay at Magnolia Lodge was nothing short of perfect, thanks to the exceptional efforts of the team. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone seeking a warm, welcoming, and well-catered experience. I can not wait to be back.”

“We were fortunate to stay at the Magnolia Lodge/Homestay this May 2024. Our stay at the property was a surreal experience which will stay as one of my favourite memories for a long time to come. The Magnolia Lodge is a perfect European style Homestay built by Dr. Sumant Rawat. It is no less than a Mansion. Every inch of the home is done to perfection from modern and impeccably clean rooms and attached bathrooms to a beautiful courtyard. The Homestay smartly stands tall on the top of a hill overlooking the Almora town. The guests are bowled over by the hospitality of the Owner and the Staff. 100% marks for the homely food served with love by the staff and special thanks to Manager, Vivek who ensured that our stay was just perfect and a completely satisfying experience. My family is already poised to visit the Homestay again.”

“My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks in April. The owner of the home is a long-time US resident and has designed this property to premium, western standards. We felt like we were in a beautiful, European manor with a gorgeous winding driveway up to the property. The hilltop location gives you nice views at day and night of the city of Almora, and the home is about 12 min drive from Kasar Devi temple.
We also loved that there was an in-house professional driver and car that made it super easy to get around town and even made our long distance journey to Pantnagar airport easy and comfortable. We also made a day trip with the driver to Kainchi Dham to visit Neem Karoli Baba’s ashram (1.5hours away), which was a special experience.
Wonderful home owner and a staff that is newer to the hospitality business but learning.
PS if you get the chance, request for the staff to make fresh pizzas in their wood fired oven - super impressive!”

“We booked the entire place as we were a big group. The lodge is big enough to accommodate 10-12 people. We were highly impressed by the way we were treated. It felt very homely. The host, along with the staff, were there to welcome us, even though we reached the place quite late in night. We were served delicious home cooked food. Some of my friends got sick due to traveling, so the host also accommodated our last minute food demands. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. We all made pizzas together with the staff and host. It was quite a fun night. The host also took us to the market to buy medicines and balmithai (high recommended), and we loved that we had a local with us who could show us around. About the property, each room has breathtaking view of the region. The interiors are also well done. Really nice place to see sunset. Out of the four rooms, three had direct access to the balconies. However everybody can access the common balcony. They also had a dog, Kalu, so that also made us happy. :) The host also recommended some cafés which were again very nice. It felt good to get to know the town, as it’s one beautiful place!!! I highly recommend visiting Magnolia with your friends or family.”

“The property is nicely done with the best of everything that one can think of. From Linens, towel, furnishes, commoms areas, rooms, activities, it has everything for everyone.
Mr.Rahul was very attentive and took very good care of all of us. He went out of the way to make us comfortable throught our stay.
Different cusine was served everyday prepared fresh and live on chulla or else at their wood fired oven.
Highly recommended for family and friends who are looking for a luxury stay away from the hustle bustle of commercial hill stations.
We and the kids had a lovely time making their own personalized pizzas and we even did live cooking on the chulla once during our stay.
We would definately visit Magnolia lodge again.”

“Rahul and his team took care of us like family. We met owner of the house and he was so kind and always speaking about making our stay comfotable. Apart from stay Rahul took us out for a small Almora tour. We enjoyed a lot our stay with lots of games to play, specially Target Practice. House is more then pictures on website. This is perfect place to get peace and relax of mind with your loved ones. Thank you Rahul for making our stay memorable, we will visit again.”
